I am very excited about this piece. I love doing challenges like this because it shows how far I've come- funny to think that old thing used to be something I considered my best work ever, but I guess everyone starts somewhere, haha. :)

The first one (aside from having the wrong foot on the shown leg) looked alot more natural. The new one has a bit of a troll-ish look in the face.

To be honest, I find both pieces beautiful. Personally I like the older ones style much more, but, I love the effects and colouring on the newer one.
How spaced is the difference if I can ask?

Lol'd because I somehow agree with you - except the part with beautiful. I think both pieces lack something.

The style is a lot different now. However, I don't think the improvement especially on anatomy or light & shading is that much. Only the colors & details have intensified.

Imo the artist really needs to work on shading and anatomy. :)
